Lucy Esta Gore

Lucy Esta Gore, age 76, of Tabor City, NC, passed away on Wednesday, February 11, 2026, at Tabor Assisted Living.  Lucy was born on March 11, 1949 to the late Daniel Sinclair Gore and Lucy Evelyn Marlowe Gore in Ash, NC.  In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a daughter in law; Jessica Caulder and a grandson; Ryan Chance Caulder.

Lucy served her country by enlisting into the United States Marines but only got to serve for a short time due to an accident.  She worked for several years at the Ethica Clothing Manufacturing Company in Chadbourn.  Her son described her as being one of a kind out of all the Mothers in the world. 

Left to cherish her memory are her two sons: James Daniel Jenrette (Angela) of Selma, NC and Donald Ryan Caulder of Whiteville, and grandchildren: Breanna Jenrette, Rachel Lairemore, Zoyi Caulder and Rylan Caulder.

The family will have a memorial service at a later date.
